Canadian OSSD Full & Dual Diploma (Part-Time/Online Program)
These Terms and Conditions govern the enrollment, fee structure, academic requirements, and participation in the
OSSD Full & Dual Diploma Program. By enrolling, the student and parent/guardian agree to all terms stated herein.
Terms & Conditions
WeTel Canadian High School (OSSD Program)
(In Academic Collaboration with William Academy, Canada)
1. Legal Status & Jurisdiction
- WeTel Education is a Sweden-based educational organization operating under applicable Swedish laws, regulations, and taxation policies.
- WeTel delivers OSSD programs as an official online academic partner of William Academy.
- The program is governed by the standards of the Ontario Ministry of Education.
- This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Sweden.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sweden, except where mandatory local laws apply.
2. UAE & India Regulatory Disclaimer (Critical Clause)
- WeTel operates as an international online education provider and does not operate as a licensed school within the United Arab Emirates or India.
- Enrollment in the OSSD program is classified as:
- Distance learning
- International online education
- WeTel does not guarantee:
- Recognition by local school regulators
- Equivalency for school transfer within UAE/India
- Acceptance by all universities or authorities
- Parents and students are solely responsible for:
- Verifying local regulatory requirements
- Ensuring compliance with compulsory education laws
- Obtaining equivalency where required (e.g., through Association of Indian Universities or UAE authorities)
3. Program Structure
- Programs offered:
- Full Diploma (Full-Time Online)
- Dual Diploma (Part-Time Online alongside regular schooling)
- WeTel acts solely as an academic delivery and support partner; certification is issued by the Canadian partner institution.
- WeTel does not guarantee university admission, visa approval, or equivalency recognition.
4. Registration & Enrollment
- A non-refundable registration fee of USD $200 is mandatory.
- Enrollment is confirmed only upon:
- Submission of required documents
- Payment of applicable fees
- WeTel reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or terminate enrollment without liability.
5. Admission & Documentation
- Students must provide complete, accurate, and authentic documents.
- Any falsification or misrepresentation may result in:
- Immediate termination
- Cancellation of credits without refund
- WeTel is not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect or delayed documentation.
6. Fees & Payment Terms
- All fees are payable in USD and are strictly non-refundable.
- Fees are not transferable or adjustable under any circumstances.
- Currency exchange charges and bank fees are borne by the payer.
7. Late Payment & Default
- Late payment penalties apply as stated.
- WeTel reserves the right to:
- Suspend academic access
- Withhold services
- Terminate enrollment
without any liability.
8. Academic Delivery Disclaimer
- WeTel provides online academic instruction and support services only.
- Academic success depends entirely on student performance and participation.
- WeTel does not guarantee:
- Grades or results
- Completion timelines
9. Assessment & Certification Disclaimer
- Credits and diplomas are issued by William Academy in accordance with Ontario standards.
- WeTel is not responsible for:
- Changes in partner policies
- Recognition decisions by universities or governments
- Students must independently verify acceptance criteria in their target country.
10. Academic Integrity
- Strict adherence to academic honesty is required.
- Any misconduct (plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, AI misuse) may result in:
- Credit cancellation
- Immediate termination without refund
11. Attendance & Participation
- Minimum attendance and participation requirements must be met.
- WeTel is not responsible for academic failure due to non-participation.
12. No Refund Policy
- All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including:
- Withdrawal
- Academic issues
- Visa or relocation problems
- Personal reasons
13. Transfer & Withdrawal
- No academic documents or certificates will be issued if:
- Financial dues are pending
- Academic requirements are incomplete
14. Technology & Service Disclaimer
- WeTel is not liable for:
- Internet failures
- Device issues
- Platform downtime
- Third-party service interruptions
15. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- WeTel shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including academic, financial, or emotional loss
- Maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed fees paid for the current academic term
16. Indemnity Clause
- The student and parent/guardian agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeTel and its partners from any claims arising due to:
- Violation of terms
- Misuse of services
- Regulatory non-compliance in UAE/India
- Third-party disputes
17. Force Majeure
- WeTel shall not be liable for delays or failure due to events beyond its control, including:
- Government actions
- Regulatory changes
- Natural disasters
- Technical failures
18. Local Compliance Responsibility (UAE & India)
- It is the sole responsibility of parents/students to ensure:
- Compliance with compulsory schooling laws in their country
- Eligibility for visa, residency, or school equivalency
- WeTel shall not be liable for:
- Any restrictions imposed by UAE or Indian authorities
- Inability to use the OSSD program for local school transfer or government recognition
19. Modification of Terms
- WeTel reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
- Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
20. Consent & Binding Agreement
- Payment of fees and enrollment confirms:
- Full understanding and acceptance of all terms
- A legally binding agreement between WeTel, the student, and parent/guardian

Declaration of Understanding
I/We, the undersigned parent(s)/guardian(s), hereby confirm that:
- I/We have carefully read, understood, and accepted all Terms & Conditions of WeTel Education.
- I/We acknowledge that WeTel Education is a Sweden-based international online education provider and not a locally licensed school in my/our country of residence.
- I/We understand that the OSSD program is delivered in academic collaboration with William Academy under the guidelines of the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Regulatory & Recognition Acknowledgement (UAE / India Specific)
- I/We understand that:
- The program is classified as distance/online international education.
- It may not automatically meet local schooling requirements in the United Arab Emirates or India.
- I/We accept full responsibility to:
- Verify local education regulations
- Obtain equivalency (if required), including through Association of Indian Universities or relevant UAE authorities
- I/We acknowledge that WeTel does not guarantee:
- School equivalency
- Government recognition
- University admission
Academic Responsibility
- I/We understand that:
- Academic success depends on the student’s effort, attendance, and performance
- Failure to meet requirements may result in loss of credits or course failure
- I/We agree to ensure the student:
- Attends classes regularly
- Completes assignments and assessments on time
Technology & Learning Environment
- I/We confirm that:
- The student has access to a stable internet connection and required devices
- I/We accept that WeTel is not responsible for:
- Connectivity issues
- Technical failures
- Learning disruptions caused by external factors
Financial Acknowledgement
- I/We understand and agree that:
- All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances
- Fees must be paid as per schedule
- Delays may result in penalties, suspension, or termination
Risk Acknowledgement
I/We fully acknowledge and accept the following risks:
- Differences in curriculum structure compared to local systems
- Possible non-recognition by certain institutions or authorities
- Academic challenges due to online learning format
- Changes in policies by academic or regulatory bodies
Limitation of Liability
- I/We agree that WeTel Education shall not be held liable for:
- Academic performance outcomes
- University admissions or rejections
- Regulatory or equivalency decisions
- Any direct or indirect financial or personal loss
Indemnity Agreement
- I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeTel Education, its partners, and affiliates from any claims, disputes, or legal actions arising from:
- Enrollment in the program
- Non-compliance with local regulations
- Misuse of services or violation of terms
Consent & Authorization
- I/We provide full consent for:
- Student participation in online classes
- Academic monitoring and evaluation
- Use of digital platforms and communication tools
Final Declaration
I/We confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- I/We have understood all risks and responsibilities
- I/We voluntarily enroll the student in the WeTel OSSD program
